Questions
Everything below is written out in full — nothing is hidden behind a click.
I live abroad and I'm only home for two weeks. Can treatment be finished in that time?
Often, yes — but it depends on the treatment. Fillings, extractions, whitening, cleanings and most crowns can be completed inside a two-week visit if we plan ahead. Implants and orthodontics cannot: implants need a healing period of roughly three to six months between placement and the final crown, and braces or aligners run for months. Message us before you travel with a description of what you need and your travel dates. We will tell you honestly what fits in your window and what will need a second visit, and we'll reserve the appointments before you land.
What languages do you speak at the clinic?
Albanian, English and German are spoken by the clinical team. Many of our patients live in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, so consultations and treatment plans can be given in German if that's easier for you. If you would prefer a written summary of your treatment plan in a particular language, ask and we will prepare one.
What happens at a first visit?
A first visit takes around 30 to 45 minutes. We take a medical history, examine your teeth and gums, and take any X-rays that are needed. Then we sit down and go through what we found, what we recommend, what the alternatives are, and what each option costs. You will not be treated the same day unless you're in pain and want it dealt with immediately, or you've asked for treatment in advance and we've scheduled the time for it.
How do you handle costs? Will I know the price before treatment starts?
Yes. After the examination you receive a written treatment plan with the cost of each item on it, before anything begins. If a treatment turns out to be more complicated once we're underway, we stop and discuss it with you rather than continuing and adding it to the bill. Where a cheaper option would give a similar long-term result, we'll say so.
How do I book an appointment?
WhatsApp is the fastest way — message +383 44 951 955 and tell us what you need and roughly when you're available. You can also call the same number during opening hours. For visits planned from abroad, message us two to four weeks ahead so we can hold the right length of appointment for you.
Do you treat children?
Yes. Children's dentistry (pedodontics) is part of what we do every day. First appointments for young children are deliberately short and low-pressure: we count teeth, let them sit in the chair, and build up from there. Treatment is only started once a child is comfortable, except in an emergency.
What if I have a dental emergency?
Call or WhatsApp us as early in the day as possible. We keep space in the daily schedule for pain and trauma cases and will get you seen the same day wherever we can.
